PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive screen with high resolution to be used for a rear projection type display, and to provide a method for molding top and back faces of a transmissive screen having excellent alignment accuracy between a lens unit and BS, less structural members and certain flexibility for selecting materials. SOLUTION: The transmissive screen comprises: a lenticular part comprising a cylindrical lens structure on an incident face side and a light shielding layer that has a stripe aperture near the focal position of each cylindrical lens and that is made of a radiation-curing resin containing a black pigment and having a light-shielding function by its volume; and a light diffusing plate joined to the lenticular part.
