PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator comprising an inexpensive door closing device of a simple structure capable of surely closing a door with little dispersion in dimensions, reducing the number of components, in particular, applying an inexpensive plate spring of a simple structure, and coping with failure only by replacing the door closing device without replacing a door body. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a lower hinge supporting a door, and the door closing device comprising a cam fixedly fitted to a shaft of the lower hinge, the plate spring 41 rotated along an outer periphery of the cam in a state that engagement portions 41a, 41b positioned on tips of spring portions 42a, 42b press the cam from both sides, constricted portions 47 formed on the spring portions 42a, 42b of the plate spring 41 to prevent concentration of stress generated in rotating the plate spring along the outer periphery of the cam, on the neighborhood of end portions at a mounting portion 43 side of the spring portions 42a, 42b, a spring holding member and a base member, and mounted on the door in a state that the engagement portions of the plate spring are positioned in recessed grooves of the cam in closing the door, and the plate spring energizes the door in the closing direction.
