PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method of positively sticking a long floor material to a floor substrate in a manner preventing widthwise warping without using an excessive amount of adhesive. SOLUTION: The long floor material 1 made of a solid material has a first longitudinal groove 6 formed in a rear surface thereof along one long side 2 and a second longitudinal groove 7 formed in the rear surface along the other long side 4. Then the adhesive 10 is applied to a first rear surface region defined by the long side 2 and the first longitudinal groove 6, and a second rear surface region defined by the long side 4 and the second longitudinal groove 7, with the help of the grooves 6, 7 as guides, respectively, and then the long floor material is stuck to the floor substrate.
