PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous resin bead-like support for solid-phase synthesis having little variation in a swelling index depending on kinds of solvents. SOLUTION: The support for solid-phase synthesis has a form of porous resin beads comprising a styrene-(meth)acrylonitrile-hydroxystyrene-divinyl benzene-based copolymer and has 2-11 m mol/g amount of the (meth)acrylonitrile structural unit based on the sum total amount of the structural units.
