PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure a bank angle of a shaft drive type motorcycle. SOLUTION: In the shaft drive type motorcycle 1, rotation motive power from an engine E is shifted by a transmission 12 and an output of the transmission 12 is transmitted to a rear wheel 3 through a drive shaft 14. The drive shaft 14 is arranged between an output shaft 13 of the transmission and an axle 16 of the rear wheel 3 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and obliquely downwardly inclines toward a rear side.
