PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing breakage of a mandrel rod head in the rolling in a cold Pilger mill. SOLUTION: In the method for preventing breakage of the mandrel rod head in the rolling in the cold Pilger mill, a joint part has a shape in plane capable of pressing and holding a mandrel rod from a rear end face thereof, the inside of the joint is stuffed, and the diameter of the rod for performing the stuffing of the inside of the joint is set to be≤20 mm.
