摘要

A waterproof push button switch that does not need resin covering up to a height hiding a split connection area in the direction of height of case of waterproof push button switch, and that attains waterproofing of the split connection area. Interstices (55,57) extending from the opening portion of base case fitting compartment (37) to annular watertight seal part (51) and completely surrounding the periphery of the watertight seal part (51) are provided between the circumferential wall part (7b) of base case (7) and second tubular wall part (9b) of cover case (9) and between facing plane (41) of the cover case (9) and waterproof seal member (11). The thickness dimension of the interstice (55) is determined so as to allow the resin having entered from the opening portion (37a) of the base case fitting compartment (37) into the interstice (55) to penetrate to the watertight seal part (51) by surface tension.
