The handle has a heating device arranged at an outer circumferential surface (102) of a hollow cylindrical plastic inner part (100) e.g. injection molding part. A die-injected covering unit is arranged radially outwards to the plastic inner part. A resistance strip is directly attached to the inner part without using a support film, which supports the strip. A projection is provided at the surface and radially extends beyond the resistance strip. The heating device has a plug-in device, which is contacted with the resistance strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a handle.
