An ink for inkjet printing, a method for preparing a metal nanoparticle used in the ink, and a metal nanoparticle prepared by the method are provided to decrease the viscosity of an ink and to increase the conductivity of an electrode wiring pattern by minimizing the amount of an surfactant remaining on the surface of a metal nanoparticle. An ink comprises of 50-70 parts by weight of a metal nanoparticle based on 100 parts by weight of the ink; 0.5-5 parts by weight of a surfactant based on 100 parts by weight of the metal nanoparticle; and a first solvent. Preferably the surfactant is adhered on the surface of the metal nanoparticle to stabilize the metal nanoparticle, and the excessive surfactant is removed by the washing process with a solvent. Preferably the metal nanoparticle is at least one selected from the group consisting of Ag, Cu, Au, Cr, Al, W, Zn, Ni, Fe, Pt and Pb. |
