LOCATED BASED CONTENTS PROVIDING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

A location-based contents service system and a method thereof are provided to recommend and search information which is spatially and temporally useful for a user among enormous location-based contents, and to display the recommended and searched information on a map, so that the user can easily read the information. A recommending/searching unit(311) filters location-based contents according to filtering criteria including at least one of inquiry periods and inquiry areas, and determines priority for the filtered location-based contents based on user-oriented evaluation criteria. A presentation unit(312) matches more than one location-based content whose priority is determined with a location on a map. A service provider(313) converts the matched location-based contents according to a user's terminal environment to provide the converted contents.
