An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to implement high resolution, without deterioration in the aperture ratio of a liquid crystal panel, by layering and forming control signal lines connected to a plurality of transistors. An LCD comprises a plurality of pixel electrodes(250) and a plurality of drivers to drive the pixel electrodes. The pixel electrodes respectively are connected with a plurality of control signal lines(212,222,232) through a plurality of switching elements(210,220,230). Control signals are sequentially supplied to the control signal lines from the drivers. At least one among the switching elements is not formed on an identical layer on which the other switching elements are formed. The control signals include a write control signal to write data in pixel electrodes and a reset control signal to reset the data memoried in pixel electrodes.
