<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle-sensing apparatus for vehicle that can preferentially detect a target close-by that has great need. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle sensing apparatus is provided with an obstacle sensing means 11 for sensing an obstacle in front of the vehicle; and a sensitivity changing means 12 for changing the sensing sensitivity, at which the obstacle sensing means senses the obstacle. The sensitivity changing means 12 reduces the detection sensitivity T1 for detecting the obstacle at a predetermined distance or larger from the vehicle, below the sensing sensitivity T2 for sensing the obstacle within the predetermined distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
