<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical water-retentive block which can satisfy the performance of an interlocking block for a road pavement, while effectively utilizing paper sludge incinerated ash as waste matter, and which can be manufactured by a manufacturing method similar to a manufacturing method for a conventional interlocking block. <P>SOLUTION: This water-retentive block contains cement, the paper sludge-incinerated ash, and aggregate which is at least partially composed of lightweight aggregate. Crushed matter of pumice, a perlite particle or the like is used as the lightweight aggregate. Additionally, natural aggregate, reclaimed aggregate, slag aggregate and the like are used. Preferably, a unit cement content is in the range of 250-450 kg/m<SP>3</SP>; the unit amount of paper sludge-incinerated ash is in the range of 30-700 kg/m<SP>3</SP>; and the unit amount of lightweight aggregate is in the range of 150-700 kg/m<SP>3</SP>. Preferably, paper sludge-incinerated ash containing free lime in the range of 2-10% is used as the paper sludge-incinerated ash. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
