SOLUTION: The light emitting element material contains pyrene compound expressed by a general formula (1). R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>17</SP>are hydrogen; alkyl group or the like; Ar<SP>1</SP>to Ar<SP>3</SP>are arylene group or heteroarylene group or the like; X is single bond; n is an integer of 1 to 4. Any n numbers of R<SP>10</SP>to R<SP>17</SP>are used for connection with X.
