PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic transmission mechanism which has improved applicability for linear movement by controlling the linearly moving direction and speed of a magnet linear mover while operating a non-contact magnet with magnetic transmission, and which is also adaptable to a mechanism requiring rotation-linear movement combining operation and rotation/linear movement selecting operation. SOLUTION: The magnetic transmission mechanism comprises: a magnet rotor 3 to be rotationally driven by a motor 2; the magnet linear mover 4 provided along the tangential direction of the magnet rotor 3 in a linearly movable manner; and fixed magnets 5 provided at both ends of the magnet linear mover 4 in the linearly moving direction for holding it at a neutral position with repulsive magnetic force due to homopolar opposition. The outer peripheral face of the magnet rotor 3 is formed with a multipolar magnet having S-poles and N-poles continuously formed alternately in the peripheral direction. A magnetic change with the rotating direction and speed of the magnet rotor 3 is transmitted to the magnet linear mover 4 to control the linearly moving direction and speed of the magnet linear mover 4.
