PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a disturbance in management of a playback order of music pieces caused by rewriting a file name by the user, in the case a name of a music piece file to be stored in an incorporated storage device is utilized for the management of the playback order of the music piece or management of a display of the music piece name, etc., by a digital audio player 10. SOLUTION: File names of two systems such as a short file name and a long file name are imparted to the music piece file in the storage device. Values related to a serial number are included in the short file name. A text for the music piece information is included in the long file name.
