PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store an expired electronic file for a fixed period for saving capacity and to provide the electronic file to a user if necessary in a document management system. SOLUTION: The document management server 20 stores an electronic file on which an expiration date is set and moves the expired electronic file to a second storage server 40. In the second storage server 40, the expired electronic file is compressed and stored for a fixed period, and by a request from an information terminal 10, provides the stored electronic file.
