PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an on-vehicle unit by performing radio communication between respective on-vehicle units and operating a one's own on-vehicle unit based on a signal transmitted from the other on-vehicle unit without providing a concentrated control type controller for controlling a plurality of on-vehicle units. SOLUTION: In the radio communication system, each of the plurality of on-vehicle units mounted on the vehicle is provided with a communication part 59 for performing radio communication between itself and the other on-vehicle unit; a communication control part 54 for controlling the communication by the communication part 59; and a processing part 56 for controlling action of the on-vehicle unit.
