The generator-actuating organ (1) is propelled in a vehicle by an actuating unit, particularly an internal combustion engine. A clutch is designed for a moment transmission between the actuating unit and the generator. The clutch transfers a full driving speed or a part of the driving speed to the generator. Two clutch devices are designed, particular in form of an eddy-current coupling (14), which holds the generator for the former clutch device, when no interference is found on a dragging number of revolutions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement in a vehicle with an actuating unit, particularly an internal combustion engine (2) a method for actuating a generator in a vehicle.
