Thermoplastic product comprises a first polar engineering thermoplastic component with coherent bond to a second thermoplastic component, which comprises a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer and a polyolefin. An independent claim is included for producing a composite product with selective electroplating using a hard plastic component and a soft plastic component, where for the production of the soft plastic component, a thermoplastic component from styrene-based elastomer and polyolefin is used, comprising providing an injection mold for the composite product, injection molding of the composite product and selective electroplating of the composite product.
