<p>An information terminal that, even if IC cards installed in the terminal are of the same kind, displays the IC cards of the same kind as different IC cards to facilitate easy discrimination between the IC cards by the user. In the information terminal (100), an insertion detection section (130) detects installation of an IC card (200) in a slot (110). An allocation section (188) of a control section (180) identifies, based on installation information from the insertion detection section (130), the IC card (200) whose installation in the slot has been detected and allocates a unique identification ID associated with specific icon information for displaying a specific icon. The control section (180) reads the specific icon from an icon storage section (170) and displays it, and to do so, the control section (180) uses specific icon information associated with the identification ID allocated to the IC card (200) whose installation in the slot has been detected.</p> |
