CARBANION STABILIZED AS TRIMERIZING CATALYST

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a trimerizing catalyst composition having at least one kind of carboanion compound and polyisocyanurate/urethane foam using the trimerized catalyst composition.

SOLUTION: The catalyst composition provides a substantially consistent foam height vs. time even if it is of a high isocyanate index, and can provide a surface hardening equivalent to that of a conventional marketed catalyst or more when PIR/PUR foam is prepared as compared with the conventional marketed catalyst. In addition, the catalyst composition can manufacture a PIR/PUR foam substantially containing no volatile amine and/or amine odor that is thermally stable at a standard foam treating temperature.
