An existing barber or beauty salon chair, in which each of a chair and a shampoo bowl is formed to the base integrally, has a problem that an practitioner cannot stand behind a customer, thereby being forced to take an uncomfortable posture to prepare shampoo or the like or thereby making it impossible to perform operation other than the shampoo, such as a massage or a beauty operation. To solve the above problems, a barber or beauty salon chair is characterized in that a chair 4 with a backrest 42 allowing a recline angle to be adjustable is attached in a rotatable manner to a base 2 of an elevating device 1 while a shampoo bowl 3 is attached to the base in a position to which an upper surface of the backrest in a deeply reclined condition comes close. |
