<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable content data reproducer which can prolong the available time. <P>SOLUTION: The portable content data reproducer is arranged to cancel streaming by stopping transmission/reception of data through a wireless communication section 104 if the residual capacity of a battery 41 becomes lower than a predetermined level when streaming is performed by receiving data externally through the wireless communication section 104. Consequently, even when carrying out streaming by a head mount display 1, residual capacity of the battery 41 required for performing content reproduction of other input source, consuming smaller power as compared with the wireless communication section 104, for a predetermined time can thereby be secured.
