PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a substance having cyclic AMP phosphodiesterae inhibiting action from natural substances and provide a cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase inhibiting agent or a slimming agent containing the substance as an active component.

SOLUTION: The agent is produced by using the finding that extract of Himalayan raspberry has cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase inhibiting action and slimming action.
