<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid, which can suppress a wavy ground from developing, and a manufacturing method of a thermosensitive recording material. <P>SOLUTION: The coating liquid contains a polyvinyl alcohol resin having a diacetone group, a hydrazide compound, a basic filler and water. In order to manufacture the thermosensitive recording material, the thermosensitive recording material is manufactured by making at least an undercoating layer, a thermosensitive layer and a protective layer in the order named overlie a support, and then the protective layer is formed thereon by coating the coating layer including a polyvinyl alcohol resin and water by a curtain coating method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
