<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recovery operation in which user's intention is sufficiently reflected when a paper error occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus receives the selection of a paper supply stage served to forcibly continue printing through an operation part when the paper error occurs (step S11). When a user selects the paper supply stage served to forcibly continue printing (Yes), the image forming apparatus sets displaying a forcible continuous screen (step S12), and stands by without starting printing operation even if the paper is refilled and paper size is changed at and after that.
