<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of radial irregularities when applying an organic insulating film being an upper layer by forming two layers of organic insulating films on a connection terminal part in a liquid crystal display device including a reflection area and a transmission area. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel part having the transmission area and the reflection area is formed, and a second organic insulating film is formed between a metallic layer forming a reflection electrode and a transparent conductive film forming a pixel electrode. Then, a surface of the reflection electrode is flattened. In a contact hole of the connection terminal part, an inclination of a first organic resin film is made gentle to suppress the occurrence of radial irregularities in the second insulating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
