<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a sudden change of engine speed and vibration in starting by appropriately regulating the torque capacity of start friction elements in a vehicle equipped with the start friction elements. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission controller sets a torque capacity coefficientτof the start friction elements (a forward clutch and a reverse clutch), based on the input/output rotating speed ratio of the start friction elements (S2, S3), computes a torque capacity command value Twc of the start friction elements, based on the torque capacity coefficient and engine speed Ne (engine angular speedωe) (S4), corrects the torque capacity command value Twc according to the change rate (angular accelerationωe') of the engine speed Ne (S5), and controls the torque capacity of the start friction elements so that the torque capacity of the start friction elements is a torque command value Twc after corrected (S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
