PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register automatically an MAC address etc. required for authentication at the time of connection with a network by a wireline and by radio without any conventional manual work by a manager regarding an address management tool and an address management method. SOLUTION: The address management tool is provided with an intermediate server having a receiving means to receive at least an MAC address and information for connection by a wireline and/or by radio of terminals for registration, and a tool to register at least the MAC address into a DHCP server for allowing unique IP address assignment based on at least the received MAC address and to register at least the MAC address into a data base for allowing an authentication server to access to the network by radio from the terminal having at least the MAC address when the received information has information for connection by radio.
