PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-size organic EL display panel which is formed by joining a plurality of subpanels, joint boundaries of the subpanels being inconspicuous, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the organic EL display panel formed by joining the plurality of subpanels, wherein a plurality of subpanels each include a support body comprising a first substrate and a second substrate and an organic EL element on the first substrate, and between adjacent subpanels, a first substrate joint part where first substrates are joined together is not coincident with a second substrate joint part where second substrates are joined together.
