A lamp mounting structure of mounting a license plate lamp on a rear garnish is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of a mold by forming a housing integratedly on a rear garnish and easily mounting the lamp on the housing. A rear garnish(1) is manufactured in integral body by using a core mold so that a housing(6) receiving a lamp(3) has an opened lower space. A lens(12), transmitting the light of the lamp, is bonded to the rear garnish through ultrasound welding to cover the opened portion of the lower portion of the housing. The housing is provided with a bulb holder mounting hole(13) on a rear surface, and a bulb holder(14) having a bulb is mounted in the bulb holder mounting hole so that the bulb is inserted into the housing. A rear surface(4) of the housing is closely assembled to a trunk real panel.
