<p>PURPOSE: A system and method for testing DSPs(Digital Signal Processors) in a mobile system is provided to judge whether DSPs in a vocoder are operated normally. CONSTITUTION: A test DSP transmits PCM data to a target DSP(202). The target DSP decodes the received PCM data after encoding, and transmits the encoded and decoded PCM data to the test DSP through a time switch. The test DSP inputs the encoded and decoded PCM data to an input terminal RX(204). Then the test DSP obtains the energy of the PCM data signal for an appointed time interval(206). The test DSP calculatesαfrom the energy ratio of the PCM data for two time intervals(208). The test DSP checks whetherαis -Φ<=α<=Φ(210). Ifαis -Φ<=α<=Φ, the test DSP judges that DSP #0 is normal.</p> |
