<p>A flat induction coil (17) included in the induction heating device (15) is provided below a hob plate (13). A thin electrically conductive coating (24,26) with graphite arranged above the induction coil is connected to a grounding connection (28). It includes a flat material with an electrical insulation adhered to the induction coil. The thin electrically conductive coating is no more than 80 mu m thick. The thin electrically conductive coating is made from a material with an electrical resistance higher than that of copper. The thin electrically conductive coating has a shape of a spiral, a fork, or a star. An independent claim is included for an induction hob.</p> |
