<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacity sensor for beds whose shape can be changed. <P>SOLUTION: This electrostatic capacity sensor is structured by composing capacitor electrodes S-3a, E-3b of several band electrodes, bonding a dielectric sheet 5 on the capacitor electrode E-3b side mutually and interposing spacers 4 between the dielectric sheet 5 and the capacitor electrode S-3a side, covering its surrounding with an insulator 2 having elasticity, moreover covering its surrounding with a shield electrode 1 and a shield 6 and covering its outermost periphery with a cover insulator 7 expandable and contractable by pressure application from outside.
