Device and method for manufacturing a plastic casing for a pneumatic gate valve

Molding machine for injection molding plastic casings (5) for pneumatic slide valves comprises a mold (1) in which a core (2) for forming the slide bore (4) is mounted. The core has undercut sections (3a, 3b). The molding is ejected before the plastic cools so that elastic deformation of the zone around the core produces a stepped bore requiring no further working. An independent claim is included for production of the casings using the machine.
