A method of assembling electric or electronic circuits making use of links 2 comprising electrically conductive magnetic or ferromagnetic cores 2 contained within an insulating body 3, the upper and/or lower surfaces and/or the sides of the cores being accessible for electrical contact with other cores or components 5. The cores may contain an insert of electrically conductive material and be coated with an anti-corrosion coating such as zinc, nickel or tin.
