A multi-purpose mug holder includes a coaster tray 3 with a raised outer wall to hold a drinks vessel 2. The tray 3 fits centrally on a weighted band 4 which hangs over each side of the arm 1 of a sofa or chair leaving the mug holder 3 sitting on top of the arm 1 in a stable and convenient position. Pockets 5 on each end of the band 4 can hold various personal items such as spectacles, lipsticks, pens, notepads, tablets, sweets and tissues as required. The inside base of coaster tray 3 and the underside of band 4 can be slip resistant to provide more stability. The tray may optionally have a lid (7) and a divider (6). |
