Winch device for lifting an object into a raised position

The device (1) has a part (2) supporting a winch (3) to wind/unwind a strand (5) e.g. metallic cable, for lifting an object (O) to a high position. A safety element (6) is connected to the object independent of the strand if the element is movable with respect to the part, and to a fixation if the part is movable with respect to the element. The element is hooked to the part by lifting the object via the strand, and automatically co-operates with a bolt (71) in its hooking position to occupy a locking position.
