Plasma and corpuscles can be separated from each other requiring only a small quantity of blood in a short period of time easily and yet accurately with a small, simple-structured tool to enable the plasma to be collected without needing the use of any chemical such as a separation assisting agent. A plasma collecting tool (10) comprises a container (12) having a micro space (14) of an extremely thin rectangular shape measuring 50 µm to 2 mm in thickness, and a blood filling port (20) and a plasma collecting port (22) both communicating with the micro space (14); a syringe (16) which fills the micro space (14) of the container (12) with blood (A) via the blood filling port (20); an inclining device (19) which inclines the container (12) to achieve a prescribed angle of inclination relative to the vertical direction; and a syringe pump (18) which collects plasma (B) by sucking the same through the plasma collecting port (22).
