A device for steering and balancing a skateboard using an elastic body, is provided to allow a user to carry out a smooth steering and balancing operation, and to enjoy a more improved thrill and interest, as well as to increase a quality and reliability of a product considerably. A skateboard includes an elastic body(1) which is elongated longitudinally and lengthily; and four board plates(40,41,42,43). A device for steering and balancing the skateboard includes: a fixing member(10), having two fixing bodies which fasten both ends of the elastic body to the first and the fourth board plate(40,43) respectively; two steering rotation members(20), mounted onto an underside of the second and the third board plate(41,42) respectively in such a manner that they cover one side of an outer circumference of the elastic body so as to increase a steering force; and two balance restoring members(30), also mounted onto the underside of the second and the third board plate respectively in such a manner that they cover the other side of the outer circumference of the elastic body so as to return the second and the third board plate to their each initial positions when they are deviated to one side or the other side.
