An ultrasonic welding assembly (14) closes plastic sacks (13) and consists of a converter, a sonotrode (16) and an anvil (17). During operation the sonotrode oscillates to and from the anvil, and simultaneously rotates on an axis (23) to the direction of oscillation (18). Further claimed is a packing machine with a number of granular discharge outlets operated in association with the ultrasonic welding assembly. |
