<p>The method involves clipping corners of an edge of a laundry item (60) at two clamps (20, 22) of a clamping device. The laundry item is identified into two different types or kinds, which do not exceed/exceed a predetermined width of the item, respectively, based on form of the corners of the item. The item is transported to nearest vacuum bars (30, 32) based on the identification result. The item is spread by a spreading device (12). A verification is made whether the item attached at the vacuum bars is stored on a conveyor belt. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying laundry items.</p> |
