摘要 |
A self oscillating laser diode is provided to develop a stable ultra short pulse laser by injecting an RF, and to develop an active ultra short pulse laser with a low cost by using a sub-harmonic RF locking structure. A self oscillating laser diode comprises a DFB(distributed feedback) sector(100), a gain sector(200), a phase adjusting sector(300), and an external RF inputting part(500). The DFB sector performs a role of a reflector. The gain sector is connected with the DFB sector, and an as-cleaved facet is formed in an end of the gain sector. The phase adjusting sector positioned between the DFB sector and the gain sector. The external RF inputting part injects an external RF signal to at least one sector of the DFB sector and the gain sector. The external RF inputting part is embodied by an impedance-matched module. |
