A current-driving method for pumping green laser is provided to control the driving current of a green laser corresponding to a modulation signal through timing control of switching operation according to an operation control signal inputted from the outside, thereby minimizing the turn-on delay in output of light. An operation control signal is inputted to a green laser drive circuit from the outside(S400). A power voltage is supplied to the green laser drive circuit if the operation control signal is low(S410). A threshold current is supplied to a green laser from a constant current source of the green laser drive circuit according to according to the operation control signal(S420). The green laser absorbs a laser light of 808 nm(S430). A fundamental laser light is generated from a laser medium of the green laser by using the laser light of 808 nm(S440). The threshold current is supplied to the green laser until the fundamental laser light is passed through a nonlinear crystal to form resonance of the laser light(S450). |
