<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small package for storing light emitting element with remarkably high emission efficiency, which can sufficiently reflect light that the light emitting element emits and can efficiently radiate it to outside. <P>SOLUTION: In the package for storing light emitting element, a frame body 2 having a through hole 2a for storing the light emitting element 3 is laminated on an upper face of an almost planar substrate 1 having a mounting part 1a for mounting the light emitting element 3 on an upper face. The through hole 2a is formed in such a way that an upper side opening of the frame body 2 is larger than a lower face side opening, and a center of the upper face side opening is shifted to an opposite side of the mounting part 1a with respect to a center of the lower face side opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
