<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key depression information detecting device of an electronic keyboard musical instrument which can properly determine a velocity irrelevantly to the style, key depression strength, etc., of a musical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a key depression depth sensor 4 which detects the key depression depth of a key 3 which freely sings, a keying speed calculating means 13 which continuously calculates the key depression speed of the key 3 on the basis of the detected key depression depth, a maximum key depression speed acquiring means 13 which acquires the maximum value among calculated key depression speeds which is necessary for the key 3 to reach specified key depression depth as the maximum key depression speed, and a velocity determining means 13 which determines the velocity of the key 3 on the basis of the obtained maximum key depression speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
