<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve mechanism for use of an aerosol container which can effectively avoid deterioration due to contact of a spring member for urging a stem with contents. <P>SOLUTION: The valve mechanism includes a stem 12 vertically movably mounted in a housing 16 provided inside the upper end of a container body 11 of the aerosol container 10 and having the upper end portion protruding upward; and a stem gasket 19 mounted in the housing 16 to surround the outer peripheral surface of the stem 12 to cover an inlet path 18 bending outwardly from a discharging flow path 17 formed in the direction of the center shaft of the stem 12 and opened on the peripheral surface of the stem 12 so that the path 18 can be opened/closed. A spring contact rib 20 protruding outward above the inlet path 18 is provided on the peripheral surface of the stem 12. The upper end of the spring member 21 for urging the stem 12 upward is brought into contact with the spring contact rib 20, and the lower end of the member 21 is supported above the stem gasket 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
