The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns polyethylene or polypropylene based polymers that have at least oneβ-oxy orβ-thio carbonyl moiety capable of liberating a perfuming molecule such as, for example, anα,β-unsaturated ketone, aldehyde or carboxylic ester. The present invention concerns also the use of such compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles that include such compounds.
