A dispenser having a pivoting actuator assembly

A dispenser (100) includes an actuating section (104) having a first moveable member (108) and a hydraulic section (102) coupled with the actuating section (104) and having a second moveable member (110). The hydraulic section (102) is adapted to dispense a liquid from an outlet (122) therein and the actuating section (104) is adapted to control dispensing of the liquid. An actuator assembly (106) operatively couples the first moveable member (108) with the second moveable (110) such that the first moveable member (105) is operative to move the second moveable member (110) between open and closed positions for respectively starting and stopping flow of liquid from the outlet (122). The actuator assembly may include a pivoting lever arm having a first end operatively coupled with the first moveable member (108), a second end operatively coupled with the second moveable member (110) and defining a fixed pivot point therebetween.
